About Me
My name is Cristina,
I am a writer, a traveler, a woman stubborn enough not to give up.
In 2023 I was diagnosed with Sjögren’s disease: a systemic, chronic, and degenerative autoimmune condition that can affect the whole body — nerves, internal organs, joints, brain — causing deep chronic fatigue, persistent pain, and symptoms often invisible to others, yet strongly impacting daily life.
There is no cure, you cannot heal from this disease. But there are paths that help you feel less pain, regain energy, live with dignity, without giving up who you are.
I was told: “You can’t live this life anymore.”
So I chose to live it anyway.
With Marco, the man I love, and with Romeo — our truck, our home — we hit the road and never stopped.
Living this way isn’t easy. But it’s life. Real life.
This book was born between a parking lot and a sunrise, between beauty, pain, and the longing for freedom.
It’s our way of telling you:
